BTS captures the ephemereal , as a type of bildungsroman, filled with change and uncertainty, of relationships that unfold in front of the spectators. Nowadays, the music industry is composed of a variety of platforms, it's not just about songs or listening to them. For example, BTS is defined by their performances and dances, it's part of what they are. I tried to transmit that idea through my website, to take my feeling, grasp them and turn them into something beautiful.
I chose to create a website about Nekfeu because I love his style as a musicians, as well as the feeling we get from his songs and their intricate lyrics. His songs allow me to escape from the real world and step into another fantastical universe, in which I can stay for hours, get lost into, feel listened to and understood. I also love his lyrics, the reality of his texts, the figures of speech, play on words, rhymes, assonances and alliterations, as well as chiasms. I still love listening to his timeless songs as they still allow me to escape.
My website is about the myth of Cthulhu, which is a term coined by August Derlerth. It is based on the 1928 short-story "The Call of Cthulhu", by famed author H.P Lovecraft. Lovecraft is my favorite author, and this website aims at celebrating his work, and make the mythopoeia of his work more known across the board, which was expanded upon by other authors throughout the 20th century. The myth of Cthulhu tells the story of mankind's powerlessness, facing cosmic and eldritch horrors and malevolent gods, and a deep-dive into madness, which is what the visuals and graphics of the website aim to represent.
